If trees could talk
I would beseech them
to whisper my name in her dreams.
To tell her
that my love is undieing
never ending.
That I would move mountains
change the course of rivers
and even stop the rain.
I would face the raging seas
the windstorms
so they could never harm her.
I would do anything
to protect her.
If only trees could talk.
