"I'VE SURVIVED ANOTHER YEAR"

My New Years resolution
is to live until I die.

I've made that same vow each year
and it seems to work
'cause I'm still alive.

Another year has come and gone
but not much has changed.

I'm still writing poetry
but she still hasn't changed her name.

I know that in His infinite wisdom
The Lord is looking out for me.

But it's sometimes hard to wait
'cause Me Myself and I
are not the greatest company.
