The river of my mind
flows gently
down crooked
narrow streets.
It flows swiftly
past huge mansions
and into the deepest
foreboding valleys.
Then it disappears
into jagged chasms.
Soon it reappears in a bubbly
clear water spring
emerging in a lush green meadow
ready to flow again.
